Now that your friend is moved out of her bad situation, what you can do as a best friend is very simple.  You can make sure you are always there for her, even if you don’t know how to ask how her day went.  Sometimes all we need is a friend to be with us, even just in spirit, and that is enough to give us the strength to go on.  Be sure your friend knows that she has someone by her side, because bullying can lead to feelings of intense isolation and loneliness.  Not being right there for her in person can be hard, but even just an “I’m thinking about you!” text can dramatically change the outcome of her whole day. A professional psychologist cannot reveal your conversations to your parents unless they find probable cause that you are a danger to yourself or others.  You can ask your counselor if s/he will keep your sessions confidential.  I would recommend asking your parents to see a psychologist if you want private and personal sessions.  That way, they are aware that you are having issues, but they don’t have to know all the secrets of your mind if you’re not okay with telling them yet.  Take time to consider confiding in your parents.  It is their job to help you.…

First day of school jitters are completely normal, so don’t worry, you’re not alone.  Everyone else is probably pretty nervous too.  The best way to deal with a new setting is to begin finding things that make you feel comfortable.  Wear your favorite casual outfit when you show up, find things about your new school that remind you of home, and remember to make some friends.  The trick to kick the nerves is to make yourself feel comfortable, which is obviously a bit harder than just saying it, but it’s not as hard as it seems.  Be yourself, smile, and be ready to talk to new people. In terms of not being over your boyfriend, especially since he broke up with you, it’s natural for you not to be over him.  You still had feelings and it will take some time for the feelings to fade away.  Try not to dwell too much on the break up and go out with your friends.  You may have given up all your friends for this boy, but you can still go apologize to them and ask for their forgiveness.  No one likes being left behind when a boyfriend or girlfriend comes into the picture, so your friends are probably a little hurt about that.  Just say you’re sorry and try and try to repair those friendships before it is too late.  As for the girl threatening you, you need to report that to an authority (principal, teacher, or parent) because that is not only wrong, but it is illegal.…

It really isn’t hard to see that he is either a very shallow person who gives you attention now that he deems you “worthy” (you have always been worthy though, never mind him), or he liked you beforehand but he was too afraid to say so.  The name-calling is often a way for a guy to get a girl’s attention— silly, right?  Obviously not all guys at like this, but I know quite a few guys who had to be taught that calling a girl names isn’t teasing or playful and can actually hurt her.  If he was genuinely being mean to you, and is now suddenly being nice because you changed your appearance, you may want to be wary of him.  Guys who are suddenly nice to girls when they “get pretty” can have ulterior motives, and you don’t want to end in heartbreak.  …

Your first of high school can be a little scary— you have to make new friends, get used to new teachers, a new setting.  It is pretty hard to get situated sometimes, especially when you had really good friends in middle school.  It is just your first year, though, and unless you go to a tiny school, there are still plenty of new people for you to meet.  Don’t feel like you have to ignore your old friends, either.  You can still keep in touch with them, which will help with the lonely feelings.  Read More…

It seems you have nothing to talk about because you only have school in common at this point. Maybe you should try doing something out of school, take her to a movie - that way you don’t have to fill the time with conversation - then in the short term you have the movie to talk about. It’s not odd to be a virgin at 17, many people don’t lose their virginity until college. Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way - if you’re in love, you should talk to her. However you should play it cool because as you said, she’s in a relationship - regardless of whether they see each other, there may be some arrangement between them. What I suggest you do is talk to a mutual friend, or any friend of hers, ask them about her relationship status. If you trust this mutual friend, you could ask them to ask her if she’d be interesting in going out with you. If you’re dedicated, which you should be if you’re in love, you should start a friendship with this girl. You need to look on the bright side of life, and while that may be hard right now, it’ll get better. An abortion may be a wise idea, you’re young and the father may not step up to the role of fatherhood, it’s not the perfect environment for child rearing. You’ll have another change to be a mother, but right now you should be focussing on your education, not raising a child. You’ll find that when the pressure is lifted, your life will be less ‘fucked up’. If you need someone to talk to, Planned Parenthood is a wonderful resource. The best thing for you to do would be to take some time out for yourself and relax. Is your question regarding what happened in the changing room, how you feel about it or what your friend said? Oh well we’ll answer all three. What happened is wrong and needs to be reported to someone with authority, the kid who did that to you needs punishment otherwise he’ll grow up thinking that doing that is acceptable and will end up raping people as an adult. I advise you talk to your school counselor or a teacher you feel comfortable talking to. If you’re worried about your own safety, don’t be, the staff are required to keep your identity anonymous. If you’re worried about your sexuality, what happened doesn’t make you gay, further more, if you enjoyed it, you’re still not necessarily gay. If you are gay, it’s natural and an incident in a changing room did not make you gay. Also on the topic of rape and sexuality, don’t let anyone place any blame on you for what happened, a lot of rape victims become subject to scorn and are told that the way they dress or their body language is suggestive. That’s pure rubbish, I could go stand on a corner and hold a sign that says “kill me” and if someone kills me they’re still a murderer and deserve the worse sentence for their actions. If you are in fact gay and it’s obvious in your manner that doesn’t give anyone the right to rape you. As for what your friend said, that was down right cold and nasty. She is meant to support you and protect you and what she said is unacceptable. First of all - ignore her, secondly - consider finding new friends. You deserve a lot better, I am sorry but she is not a nice piece of work. The bottom line is - regardless of whether you liked or hated it, you must make sure this kid is punished for his actions if you leave it then he could become a danger to society. Don’t worry about the consequences of reporting him, you will be safe and you’ll remain anonymous.
